Organization Details

The Scientific Committee will be formed by scientists with long experience in noise related areas of acoustics as well as in general acoustics. The members of the scientific committee will originate from a variety of European countries. Non European well recognized scientists with strong links with EAA will also be asked to become members of the Scientific Committee.

All Technical Committees of EAA will be asked to organize structured sessions in subjects related to their specialization.

In addition, distinguished scientists will be invited to organize special sessions and there will be an open call for suggestions for structured sessions.

There will be four plenary lecturers
(one each day of the Conference).

If EAA decides to have a best student paper contest, the scientific committee will help in the setting of a jury for deciding the best papers.

Special events related to noise control involving authorities and legislation institutes will also be organized.

The organizing committee is open to additional suggestions for parallel events. All the committee meetings of EAA will take place in the Conference Center provided that the local organizing committee will be informed about them well in advance.

Full papers will appear in the Conference Proceedings. The authors will be asked to submit full papers.

The Proceedings will be available at an appropriate storage device and on-line at the Conference web-site.

The Conference web-site will be used for all activities related to the Conference, including submission of abstracts, full papers, registration, payments, accommodation or transportation booking etc.

An effort will be applied to utilize all the up-dated electronic means including social media for the dissemination of information on the conference and the organization handling.
